Hypothetical: Could N. Korea Nukes Reach State of Washington & How Far Could Radiation Spread Is LA

Could nukes from N. Korea reach the US as I read online they could reach the State of Washington. If it happened, how far would the radiation spread? If you lived in Los Angeles like me and that happened (I know many of you do not live in cities) do you think as a result there would be endless rioting, martial law, etc., or would life be the same as always? Would there be a possible chance of the radiation reaching Los Angeles? If so, I just plan to immediately get out of California by plane or train and temporarily relocate to a safe state away from any chance of radiation. I don't anticipate that during the first few days there would be a problem to leave LA. Anyone disagree with this? Please no "You should just not live in a City answers" as they would not address my question under the reality I exist in. Thanks for your opinions

 

Oh good point. Let's say from the State of Washington what is the worst case scenario as far as radiation spreading? Do you have a source link/book that facts in period of time?

 

Not so much worrying about that but always like to have a plan/rough idea of what to do if something like that, however slim, happened. I don't agree with you on item 3 which is not to say I'm right but I just can not see a scenario where Los Angeles would be in immediate danger from radiation from something happening in the State of Washington but people still decide to get out of Los Angeles immediately. Does anyone else disagree with that?

 

Never under estimate your enemy! Cardboard rockets or not, I think he might be playing the game better then any one thinks with his failed launches! I bet they do a "test" shot some time that changes to a war shot mid flight!!! Where it hits, and how far inland it can go is any ones guess!

Right now we all joke about Kim's failure to launch but it could be deceiving. Right now people are not taking that threat 100% because of the failures we have seen. Are they real failures or are they an illusion to make us relax? Do not forget, he has launched satellites, so why all the failure with rockets/missiles?

Right back to what I was pointing out earlier! I think ( he thinks) i it's retribution for the Mighty U.S. having it's way with his family and his country ever since the 50's, and this "plan" is how he thinks he can fight back!

They will likely miss and kill a bunch of fish or hit canada.

 

When you get right down to it, Kim could set off a nuke anywhere along the coast of the US, any time he likes, and he wouldn't even need a rocket to do it. The whole rocket routine is just a lot of razzle-dazzle.

All Kim would really need is a shipping container, and one fanatic (Patriot) that was willing to live in the box until it got to America, and then die in it when he set off the nuke.

Or Kim could hit an inland target just by having someone truck a nuke in from Mexico--or Canada.

What could be hard about that? It's not like our borders are secure, or anything.

But he won't.

Kim has no plans to incite an all-out nuclear war with the US. He just wants to fan-dance on the brink of Apocalypse until some foreign governments give him some tasty concessions.

Then he'll dial it back a few notches until it's time for more concessions.

Make no mistake: If Kim uses an nuclear device against the US, either Donald Trump will pave his cities with the kind of glass that makes a great night-light, or his replacement will.
