They say children with Autism are usually on a whole other wavelength then us mere mortals, Their brain functions are off the charts, but the wiring to the rest of the body gets shorted out some how. Still, what a wonderful blessing, and an inspiration! Gods little miracle!

Her show-stopping version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" at this year's holiday choir performance at Killard House Special School in Donaghadee has drawn raves from around the world. "She was a very reserved, non-communicative, anxious child when she first came to us at 6 years old, but we noticed she always enjoyed singing in the class,'' Killard House principal Colin Millar told TODAY. "Our music teacher put her in major roles in the school plays, and it took off from there. "When she sings, she just opens up into the beautiful young girl she is and shows the talent she has. It's her way of dealing with the anxiety and really just settles her down to allow her to access her learning abilities. My wife has spent the last 25 years working in a school of mixed special needs and SED kiddos. You have no idea of how this music video hit her - right square in the heart. Well, I have watched it 8 or 9 times already and will probably do so again, each time gives me goose bumps, such a sweet voice with an innocent angel face to match. I love her little dimples. Been walking around the house humming it...even while shoveling snow. Nice gift for Christmas.
This should be a daily habit to listen to her. It keeps us old farts grounded in a truly fouled planet. Even our Giant Malamute is soothed by her singing. This is one Post I will leave on here. And I do not leave any for long. I think there are many many more than a million hits on her video. I know I have sent it out to enough people that it would pyramid to many many millions of times that number. This is one of those rare things that can sooth an entire planet. .
@Taku Just for the heck of it... I looked this morning (27 Dec 2016) on YouTube and on just 3 posts she had ~5.5 million views with ~ another million on all the other posts counted together. So, I think people agree with us here...
I sent at least 50 emails and tweets to Trump, Pence And their team suggesting they forget the leftist hollywood entertainers and singers snd get entertsinment like this instesd. It would go much farther in the like department. I am still pushing it to them. Hollywood types be damned. They are not real people nor good Americsns. This girl is Irish but has more suncereity and heart than all of them. Excuse sny typos as I am on a phone with a miniture keyboard. I gave a simple link to this as a Christmas gift greeting to thousands and my friends. Probably the best gift I ever passed on according to some.
I do have to wonder, that if the very talented girl merely sang a secular song, whether there would be as much effusive promotion of her talents. If for instance, Kaylee had covered a Brittney Spears song, rather than a Leonard Cohen song, would there be as much gushing? Would Trump and Pence be pestered into including Kaylee in their bandwagon?
