Yes I remember the glasses, did you know you can buy them on Ebay...

Really a Lucky Wishbone in Anchorage, the same guys as in Tucson? They tried one down in Sierra Vista, I ate there once, it was good and a lot for the $, however they choose to locate across the street from KFC, in a building that Long John Silvers went out of business in and didn't have a drive thru, and next to no parking!

Remember Tucson and probably Phoenix, the trampoline parks, my Mom said no, it was too dangerous... how could that be, if you didn't land back on the canvas you landed on the concrete skirting...

Remember the billboard advertising the coming of "Mr. Pop Top"... no explanation, no nothing.

I remember the fallout shelter markets on Speedway ave back in the day. The trampoline places went under after a kid broke his neck - just as you said - on the cement border.

As for the Anchorage Wishbone - the guy that set it up may have served at DM - dunno. It first opened in the 50s.

Tucson is trying (desperately) the 'revitalize' the downtown area.

Reducing crime might be a better start than a few feet of new sidewalk..

I am happy to say that after a renovation, the Congress is still in business...

I have a friend that has a golden retriever his name is Ruger and Ruger is trained so that on command he runs to his hiding place and fetches his gun, a Ruger convertible six to his master. It doesn't matter where his master is on the property that dog will get it to him or die trying.
The wood grips have taken a tole from teeth marks but it doesn't hinder the gun's function.

According to Hillary Clinton's dog Maisey the cat claimed responsibility in a suicide letter found the following morning. Prior to the stunning admission the cat was thought to be the only witness and had promised to "spill the beans" for immunity and catnip.
