Damn svjoe, that snake has 21 or 22 buttons. I have never seen a rattler with that many, and I personally killed one that measured 7 ft 4 inches.
Never seen one that big, myself. Must be close to a full 6'? The thing about CB rattlers is, the antivenom isn't from CB rattlers, but diamondbacks. Sure, it works, but it isn't an exact match, either. Also, I know of somebody who found a CB rattler with three fangs. Imagine the venom from that sucker! To get the antivenom after bitten will take some time, and not every region will have rattler antivenom on hand. These facts alone make the CB rattlers extremely deadly. The only good thing is, if you don't step on one, you probably won't get bitten. Of course, seeing one before you do...is harder than one may think.

The hospitals here stock: CroFab antivenin, "while not specific for C. horridus, is used to treat envenomations from this species."
@svjoe good to know! And I have been spelling "antivenin" wrong all these years. *shrugs* Yes, it isn't specific for cane breaks. More reason to not be bitten.
thanks Tac however there is a serious problem with this list. the top 6 or 7 most deadly venomous snakes are not on the list starting with hitlery Nuka Orange
