    I post a lot of IDF images.
    Top to bottm is the magazine carrier used by IDF - this allows carry of a loaded magazine while keeping the weapon safe - that is to say, a dummy magazine blocking the mag well.

    The little orange gizmo is required for every weapon leaving a military post for the IDF. They normally don't show well in most photos. I don't know what they use for the M-1 carbines carried by school teachers and school related staff.....

    There are any number of MT chamber flags around, most are not gun specific. The ones I have will go in anything semi auto, the bolt will hold them in place. I've used one with an M1Garand, so I suppose they would work in the M1 Carbine as well. (Gonna have to look a bit more carefully at those ladies that carry them. I mean the guns, not the ladies ---)

    With the Trap Door stuck OPEN, with the Bolt not in Battery, doesn't that allow all the Blown dust and debris into the Mechanism???
