If Shawn has had the fully transition they will issue a new birth certificate that says male so this post becomes a NON ISSUE. BTW the whole bathroom thing was started by some liberal states repsonding to transgender advocates in their states demanding bathroom rights. Then the more conservative states got involved with their anti bathroom rights bills. The fact is transgenders have been unsing public restrooms of their chosen sex for years and it has never been an issue before. The laws they passed makes it more likely that some pervert will pretend to be transgender in the moment to go into a restroom. The problem is not legitimate transgenders it it perverts. Personally i'd make all restrooms stalls only unisex bathrooms. Just make the stall walls more complete without and gaps that can be looked through. Problem solved. Open changig area showers and locker rooms are another thing however...
