    spent 600 bucks at Sams Club. We shopped carefully as many of their so called deals are not so good. W e got canned chicken, Spam, Rice, Beans, lots of bulk spices and bullion. Coffee, Creamer, Mashed potato flakes, Bulk dish soap, powdered gravy mixes and lots of other things to add to the beans and rice dishes. They had a great deal on cases of mushrooms. Then over to Meijers for canned stews and more Raman.

    My Old pairs will be the backup Pairs, as the Prescription hasn't really changed all that much, and actually the pairs before those, are the exact same Prescrition as the New Ones... I am set... and After I paid $480 for both sets, now I wait 2 weeks while the build them.... They are BOTH Glass Lenses, with Prescription PhotoChromatic Layers, to help correct my colorblindness....

    I'm hard on glasses. I just use readers (last year or two) but i break, twist, mangle, and scar them on a regular basis.
    I buy several pairs at once, and use them until they just aren't worth the trouble, then grab a new pair.
    The cast offs would function, but not well.

    I already have good stacks of those...these are essentially pure lead for making the appropriate mix when one or more of the other finally run out. ;)
