I'm not quite sure how I feel about Jeb's throwing in the towel in this year's Presidential contest. Relieved that a third member of the Bush dynasty will not be elected to screw up the United States of 'merica.....or that Trump is now one candidate closer to doing a better job of it, than the preceding two Bushes who did actually make it to the Oval Office. Time will tell I guess. Trump's decisive win must have his fellow Republican candidates looking back over their shoulders at him, while running like Fnck to avoid the Great American Panjandrum * that is becoming Donaldo the Great! * World Wide Words: Panjandrum Of course Donaldo also closely resembles the Great Panjandrum of WWII vintage. I can only hope that Donaldo will be just as successful. The Great Panjandrum Scares a Dog
Jeb is too weak, he cant stand up for himself well on a national stage how the hell is he going to do it for the USA with the rest of the world?
Jeb lost my interest at the first debate. He said a path to amnesty and a picked crowd booed him; he stood there looking befuddled.
I was shocked when Jeb dropped out as the lamestream press was full of the news that he was surging in the polls and had reached a new high of 4%! I wonder how many millions was spent by the Republicrats on his campaign. He was dead last from the start with that dim witted and lost look on his face and his mouth hanging open like an idiot, which his speaking ability did nothing to counter.
While there really seems to be no really good candidate for the Repubs, they seem determined to pick the one (once again) for whom very few independents will vote. While, on the other side of the aisle, the Socialist will likely garner more primary votes, but the "old guard" will award the ballot slot to the lying felon for whom most of those independents will hold their collective nose and vote. Sad days have arrived on our shores.
As of January 31, Bush had raised more than $118 million through the Right to Rise Super PAC and about $32 million directly through his campaign. I cannot believe a dead horse candidate could raise that much just by his last name. That goes to show how out of tune the R to R superpac is out of touch with the people. How Much Money Failed Presidential Candidates Have Blown Through This Election
Jeb was a non-starter. Big money thought he would make a good finger puppet, and Jeb failed utterly even at that..
I don't think he would have made a bad president but - enough with the dynasties already! Same goes for the Clinton's...don't know if Chelsea is in politics - yet - but she'll want the job next! @3M-TA3 "She could be the first President to pardon herself..." That's funny! And, for some weird reason I have this image of a news conference where President H announces to her 'fellow Americans' her decision to pardon herself. LOL!!!!!!! @Motomom34 yeah...$118M..amazing. During the McCain vs Obama election it was something like $130M vs $650M if my memory serves me and a billion each for Romney vs Obama... seems it would be more fair if they could cap the contributions say $50-100M max...sort of a level playing field. Dunno. What I am hoping is that Donaldo makes a wise decision for VP. I would love to see Rand Paul (but don't think he would take it) as VP because I do not think that Donald will remain more than 1 term which would place the VP in a very good position. I also would like to see Ben Carson in the cabinet, Surgeon General would be a good fit. Oh well, daydreaming...
