I don't know what that is but now would be the time. I have not hooked it into my existing plumbing yet.

 

Added a box of #4 12ga for home defense. I'd hate to blow hole through the wall when the temperature is 9° outside and now way to patch the mess up. Checking into a small Honda generator.

It makes life easier when you need to shut down a feed to a place for freezing temps or if you need to do a repair.
Like you said, now is the time. Even if you are not ready for an out building, garden or a Picnic table area right now then you can still valve it off and stub it out for later use.

I'd like to also suggest you valve both sides of your hot water heater, again come a leak or time to replace the hot water heater then you do not have to shut down the whole house.

Same goes for out side faucets, ours are supplied from valves inside the house. Come freeze time you simply close off that line, open the outside valve and all winterizing is done.

Valves we used are all quality Ball valves.

Two other suggestions that will save you grief later.

Run only one inch supply lines, anything smaller and you will not be as happy as you might be with your system.

At the supply to your pressure tank install a sediment tank, size and design is your choice but you can start with a section of 6" PVC pipe for the body of the tank.. This will keep most solids that are pumped up from the well from getting to your supply tank. Have at least a 1" drain line at the bottom of the sediment tank, this to check for sediment and drain as needed.. Good Idea to add one to your output also.

 

When I planned on the Manifold output I had typical exits boxed in before I laid the slab.
Wall of Pump House is concrete so I used conduit clamps and racks to mount the manifold.

Fleshed out my 308 and 5.56 reloading capabilities - Dillon trim dies for bulk/QCB loads on the progressive, and a standard Dillon 308 die for precision loads. Also extra tool heads, a decapping die w/ extra pins, 2 lbs 4064 powder, 2,000 CCI #34 primers. Settin up my new reloading area next weekend. Turning my attention back to water storage now that I have more buy in from my wife and resident MIL after the tsunami talk this week and the Alaska earthquake. Will be off my 20 lb weight restriction next weekend as well so should be able to weasel the 150 lb containers out of my truck without injury to me or them.

im definitely behind on posting.i've stocked up on some foods and other items as well,to whats in the pic's..

 

This week was pretty productive for me. Did alot of dehydrating and food storage, bought some more water purification equipment. Started my portable solar power genertator, 400 rnds of my fav SHTF ammo ( fed lake XM855 5.56) spare parts for all my arms. And finally got around to getting my technicians HAM lisence.

Picked up a dozen fiberglass arrows, and took a 4 hour class on Herb-ology

 

Scored 4 reloading presses, 2 single stage, i progressive, and 1 shotshell loader, a scale, powder measure, funnel, and 3 die sets
for the princely sum of $40. Spending about $70 in replacement parts to get them up and running.
