The Air Force gets a lot of $#!* from other services, and I've certainly dished out my share to my kid brother over the years.
He was a PJ. I used to hang out with him and some of his buddies, and I've got to say while they were some of the craziest guys I knew at the time, they all had big brass ones when it came time to go do their job. On a wall in my brother's home under his decorations is a framed letter that he received from the wife of a pilot that he rescued during his time in the gulf. One of the coolest letters I've ever read. My SiL took it and got it framed much to my brother's embarrassment. He felt that it would look like he was bragging.
I've always said my brother was brave, but I never said he was smart...
