As I write, Paris is under curfew for the first time since the German occupation, and the death toll from the multiple attacks stands at 158, the vast majority of them slaughtered during a concert at the Bataclan theatre, a delightful bit of 19th century Chinoiserie on the boulevard Voltaire. The last time I was there, if memory serves, was to see Julie Pietri. I'm so bloody sick of these savages shooting and bombing and killing and blowing up everything I like - whether it's the small Quebec town where my little girl's favorite fondue restaurant is or my favorite hotel in Amman or the brave freespeecher who hosted me in Copenhagen ...or a music hall where I liked to go to hear a little jazz and pop and get away from the cares of the world for a couple of hours. But look at the photographs from Paris: there's nowhere to get away from it; the barbarians who yell "Allahu Akbar!" are there waiting for you ...when you go to a soccer match, you go to a concert, you go for a drink on a Friday night. They're there on the train... at the magazine office... in the Kosher supermarket... at the museum in Brussels... outside the barracks in Woolwich...

Will the French rise up with their kitchen knives and pheasant guns and exterminate the invading Muslims, or will they be pushed back into less and less defensible positions, abandoning their homes and cities to the invading barbarians?

Will they depend on the government and the military to protect them or will they start protecting themselves, and possibly overthrow their own inadequate government in the process?

Will other governments realize their very existence depends on defeating this world-wide Muslim assault, and take the decisive steps necessary to defeat it? Or will they be as one with the sheeple they worked so hard to create?

We are all living in Interesting Times now.

 

IMO the prime target time for a France style attack.......black Friday. Take out a few Wal-marts early Friday and fear would ensue. All malls would close and our economy would tank. People would be afraid. A Thanksgiving attack on American soil would be devastating. Busiest time for the airlines but airlines would halt if an attack happened.

yes, cells are living here, training and preparing. I wrestle with this whole thing. Since Paris how many monkeys have had doubts and concerns going about their daily life? Any Monkeys thought twice about going into a Metro area or a mall? My kids are hearing this news, how do I assure them they are safe, when I am feeling unsure myself. Let us not forget- there have been reports of Americans going over and joining ISIS. The enemy comes in all colors.

 

My initial reaction to the Paris attacks had been " Good, they deserve what they are getting, they let them all in..." Then I remember that we are allowing them to come into our country... Then remembering, They are already here!
Without accurate intel on the who, what, and wares how would one successfully plan anything.. Meanwhile, as we are all focused on this issue, what have the socialist in charge have planned? Is this the step designed to throw our country into chaos in order to gain the popular support for the next step? Example would be 1933 emergency war powers act.. Given the current knowledge held by the sheep, it would not be a far stretch to convince them to agree to and support a socialist complete take over of the government.. Temporary of course..

 

Interestingly (and sadly), one of the carrying restrictions that even many "gun people" accept is the common ban on carrying where there will be large crowds. It is only a matter of time until we start seeing attacks like France suffered this week. It can happen here...

Only a matter of time until these Jihadists switch tactics, from mass murder to infrastructure targets. The impact would be devastating.

"Allah Akbar"
"It's for the children"
"We're from the government and are here to help you"
"It's for your own protection"

Yes, we now live in a different world. OpSec and situational awareness are paramount.
Will violence visit you and yours? I hope not.
Can it come to you? Well yes it can.

Can you mitigate it? Yep by not being there when it occurs, or by having a practiced plan of action and by remaining aware of your surroundings.

But should you spend your days worrying about it? Nope. If you are frozen in place with worry and second guessing, you are missing the most important thing of all. Living your life.

Violence can come from any quarter. Radical groups, Mother nature, our own government or from outer space. Some things you can prevent, other things .. well you are just along for the ride.

Be prepared but hope for the best.

 

It sis only a matter of time before these ISIS idiots get smart and figure out how to really hit us. Its not in the big cities its in the small unprotected school and malls of middle America. Yes the people in those areas will respond but chaos will still reign.

My Son just called me and told me we had to bug out right now! He saw the article about 10,000 being unloaded in New Orleans! I read that yesterday, but then he read me the one about them being unloaded here in Mobile, missed that one! I told him to wait until stuff started happening then we'll make our move!
For now I'll just wait and see if I can finally get to use some of this stuff I've been buying for the last 4 years!

All bundled up and struggling through the first snow of the season, the cyclists are not nature enthusiasts but rather refugees.

Russia does not allow pedestrian crossings here, and Norway penalizes drivers who transport asylum-seekers. This confluence of Norwegian law and Russian regulation has meant that refugees hoping to come through the Storskog border crossing between the two countries must make the last leg of their journey on bikes.

The first refugees to use this border crossing came in February, according to police Superintendent Stein Hansen. He said they were Syrian.

 

This is a positive first step hopefully it is made permanent and spreads to other states.
Of course some lib group will call him racist and take it to court.

Snyder suspends efforts to settle Syrian refugees in Michigan
LANSING -- Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder says he is suspending efforts to bring Syrian refugees to Michigan in light of the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday.

"Given the terrible situation in Paris, I've directed that we put on hold our efforts to accept new refugees until the U.S. Department of Homeland Security completes a full review of security clearances and procedures," Snyder said in a statement released by his office on Sunday.
