So I have some Colt AR15 20 round magazines. I put them up for sell at $20 Each for $400 total. I had one offer me $5 a piece and another $8 a piece. Is the market so bad that I can't get them sold or are people expecting something for nothing?
Pretty much just us oldtimers looking for twenty rounders. That and plastic mags are all the rage these days. Saw some colt twenties at the last gun show that were table priced at 6.50.
Prices have dropped and quality can be had less expensively. 11 to 13 bucks and a warranty. Brownells makes a right nice 20 rounder that have good feed back. Magpul at Brownells has this.
#1 I would keep them and use either for extra's or for barter as you suggested. I never sell anything I have bought.... worst case, I use them for either trade or to fit up another member in the team with gear. #2 I would have a bunch of the 30-rounders..... only way to fly in my house. There are some metal mags that are pretty expensive -- H&K comes to mind as one brand. I've seem some IDI (? Israeli company) selling for $25 apiece; you could tell they were very heavy-duty steel. You'll probably get opportunity to get a better price when the slime-o-crat-icans start pushing agendas again. People always buy when the price is high.
