One question about rock hunting....
My sister tried it for a while, had the tumblers and all that stuff, but ran into a problem....
See, we all grew up hunting, and the rule is, you hunt it, you clean it, and you prepare it for dinner. And the only meal she could come up with was always "stone soup"....got any good recipes?

That is a good question tho. Mostly we just make paperweights ... I want to make cabs and all and no not like Fred and Wilma use... [i got ahead of you on that one ]
All I know is on the 5th of November, we will be in the area where they are and will have to figure how to stow them so the rv doesn't pop a wheelie leaving.
Oh man! To prepare a rock for dinner............. dress it in a tux and put out an extra chair at the table. Gotchaaaaaaaaaaaa

I am being cheated I think! I have waited a long time now for the 3rd movie in the series Atlas Shrugged...... Did I miss it or what? It was supposed to be out last year!
I was going to name my boat "John Galt"

 

Don't know, on the movie. I've seen none of them, yet. But I made my wife read Atlas Shrugged, before I'd marry her.

 

Strange that you should say that...I have done the same thing with girlfriends who were prospective marriage partners...if they were sympathetic to Ayn's objectivist philosophy, embedded in her novel, "The Fountainhead',....they quickly became ex-girlfriends. If they could make head or tail of Sartre's "Being and Nothingness", then they were probably much brighter than me and suffered a similar fate. If they had well thumbed copies of "Australian Sporting Shooter" or "Guns Australia" magazines in their throne room...then they might be in with a chance.

 

Chell, maybe some dating advice? Instead of requiring prospective second dates to spend hours on your reading list save some time. Give them a quick tour of your wine cellar with you dressed in your feather boa and endangered species cod piece (and yes, you DO still owe us pics of that one). Those that refrain from screams of horror and bolting your castle creating a Wylie Coyote style door in the raised drawbridge over the moat might, I say MIGHT, be worth a request for a second meeting. Although if you are spending much time in their "throne room" a better choice of literature might be a cook book. Not written by William Powell please. Just trying to help out here my friend. I do have one question concerning the drawbridge though. Does it raise inward toward the castle gate? Or did your neighbors construct it to raise outwards? Again just trying to help.

 

That I should have at least one thoughtful friend here, interested in my dating desires, gives me a pleasant, warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
