Three flocks flew over this afternoon. It is the true sound of Fall.

 

Bench under a shade tree overlooking the lake. Not anymore. Beavers needed that tree. They did leave the bench though.

Today's picture. A short-tailed Weasel (or Ermine) under my cabin. Go get the mice buddy!

 

First snow of the season always feels like :

Ferns and snow;

 

Little bunny froo froo, hopping through the forest... stopped outside the wrong house and wound up on the grill.
Front legs and backs for bunnychiladas tomorrow.
Funny how those backs kinda look like lobster tails... if only.

There once was a pen full of bunnies
they were cute sweet fluffy lil hunnies
then along came a witch
with a boom stick to twitch
and their heads sprouted holes awful runnys.

Went away with the 40 degree temps. Snow coming back Friday and looks like the temperature will finally start staying down.
