So I was at my local Rural King the other day and they have a sale going on, and the price of a CORE15 Tac III caught my eye. Reviews looked good but could also be biased and purchased so if there is anyone that has a CORE15 and has an opinion on them please share!.

It is and AR15 chambered in .223 rem and 5.56 the warranty seems pretty legit and I can get the rifle at just around 800.00 right now. I am seriously thinking about getting one to add to my collection. I like that the owners are FORMER** Marines as well.
Ex Marine? Ex MARINE?!!? I guess that means they got a Big Chicken Dinner instead of an Honorable Discharge? FORMER Marine...LOL But you may want to shop around a bit...my wife recently got a Colt AR for a little over $600...new. But it is a plain Jane deal, she didn't want the additional weight out front...YMMV
thanks for the correction tech once a marine always a marine, no disrespect to the brave men in the USMC.
I am very familiar with Rural King, have patronized their stores for over 40 years. Their normal new gun prices are seldom undercut, even at gun shows. And when a weapon is on sale you will NOT find it any cheaper elsewhere. The question is do you want that particular model/brand. If yes, you won't do better on their price. AT
I read a good review on them but can not find the magazine I read it in so I will not be able to reference it. Anyways, found some good links to reviews. As always, pay attention to the comments which can glean additional information about the weap. Core-15 Tac III Rifle Review - Guns & Ammo
Just think about the different seasons. summer time you're wearing a shirt, winter you might have on 3 or more layers on the upper body. Also handy if you have to pass the rifle off to someone else so they can shoot. Being able to adjust LOP .. priceless. (IMHO)
Core 15 has been a customer of Sadlak for many years and uses a lot of our products on their builds. I can attest to the quality of the Sadlak parts.
Thanks for the info. I went ahead and bought the TAC III, will be throwing a couple hundred rounds down range this weekend and report back what i think of it.
@LouDog , when you do your range report, please start a thread here, for future reference by the Monkey's.....have fun. Range reports | Survival Forums
