Not a kilt, but I am often dressed like this.

Can even get stuff like a SAK and flashlight tucked into the "waistband."

If the men have to wear school uniforms like .... kilts. I would agree to baby sit :Ď

The biker thought about it for a long time. Finally, he said, “Lord, I wish that I and all men could understand women; I want to know how she feels inside, what she’s thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing’s wrong, and how I can make a Woman truly happy.”

The Lord replied, “You want two lanes or four on that bridge?”

 

Most of the itch comes from it not being pure wool in my experience.

 

Wool doesn't bother me at all. Best blanket I have is a rough wool.

 

I wear a proper length (haha) kilt shirt when I wear mine. Which is to say that I wear a normal 18th century shirt with it. I have been amazed at how well a kilt adapts to 100+ to 10ish degree weather. I try to keep mine in a B.O.B. when I'm not wearing it.
