I used door/window gasket stuff. The roll of foam rubber that has a sticky edge that you peel the paper away. We did this years ago when we were cruising on our sailboat. It worked well enough for any water and salt water humidity.

OK, sorry for the lack of progress here. Just got back from a trip in the RV and that is another story. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow for a two to three week repair. Roof replacement.

So sometime this week, I will do an inventory and list the items I want to centralize....

So many great ideas from the membership and I do need to get going...

Manufacturer's defect..... It is so hard to find good help with pride in workmanship any more!

It does seem like everything is made cheap nowadays...with just enough longevity to survive the warranty period and then fall apart.

Great list Dune!! I think I would have the jerry cans and water jugs full at all times..... never know when disaster/emergency strikes. Do you want to be sitting in a line at the gas station to top off... or making miles. :)

Now that you have two weeks of food.... I would add another two weeks of light weight food such as Mountain House. Especially if weight is starting to be an issue for your rig.

Weight isn't an issue for the rig, it is the time required to get everything loaded. That is where the plan comes in. I have to set this stuff up so that it can be loaded in the truck and we are getting out of Dodge within 5 minutes. That is the goal. I have plenty to work on. Light weight food is something I need to invest in, for sure, YD,

@Motomom34 there are two 1st aid kits and a field surgical kit in my BoB, Thanks.... I did leave that out.

I'd also recommend investing in some Yoga classes...you'll want to have the bodily flexibility to carry that one off when the critical moment arrives...;)

You forgot the duct tape and a bible. One to do running repairs to your equipment...and the other to do running repairs to your soul. ;)

Well, I will eventually run out of duct tape, and my faith is secure without the written word. o_O

    Now, to get started...

Finally got it done. All the SHTF stuff organized and centrally located so it will be easy to grab and go. Also just went ahead and moved the boat out of the garage and got the whole space cleaned up and organized. [winkthumb] [biggrouphug]

Thanks for the support. It kept me on task..
