Is this an automatic update item or something you are prompted to down load? If it is auto, how do you strip it out...win 7 here.
KB3075249 and KB3080149 are supposedly optional. they may change this in the future. They flagged KB3068708 as a "recommended" update. A lot of users will install it without knowing what it is. Please do not install KB3075249, KB3080149 and KB3068708

Thanks Sec, I truly appreciate your PSA. I have turned the up-dates to optional on both computers. Desktop has a failed up-date since Dec so that one is fine and the lap top has been trying to install Win10 since 7/28 and it fails every time.
Changing over under duress is apt to create more problems. Block the updates is the best short term fix.
Alright, just changed tablet settings. It was set for automatic update. Set it do download updates, but let me decide whether or not to install. (I assume that is satisfactory?) I also checked download history, and see no sign of these three updates.
Change my settings? Control panel, windows updates then change settings. I hope that is what you were asking.
If you just use to surf the web, might want to switch to Linux Mint. An updated Win system is extremely vulnerable to all kinds of exploits.
