Army officer from Alabama nails it: 'I'm offended that everyone is offended by something!' - Yellowhammer News How disconnected, frustrated, amused, angry, devoted, enamored, committed are you to changing our current path we are on? Is there any means to make a change in your opinion... are we on a death spiral as a nation. What are you doing, or not doing, to express your opinions and create change. Are you killing it on the phone and keyboard reaching out to representatives that can assist or friends/family/organizations and so on that are like minded?
We have confused expressing an opinion with 'the truth' and for me most of this stems from our politicians 'spinning' the truth the way they want us to see it. I object to lies and damn lies. It's gotten so bad that we don't have consequences (think Hillary and email server) for our self proclaimed leaders. What happened to 'if you lie we dont vote for you'. And to add to your poll YD if Hillary runs for president, I am getting out and campaigning for the other side. I havent done this in years but I will go run the oppositions volunteer team if that's what it takes.
I write & call my reps and other states reps. My son would like to know why Obama won't call me back. I also attend rallies and have already volunteered to campaign for my candidate. It is important to me. And it is important that my children see their parent stepping up.
#2, 3, & 6 above. Because of that exposure I'll probably be in the first few buses to the re-education camp since I'm not important or dangerous enough to kill, and I have useful skills they can exploit. I don't care. I'd rather try to fix it before we lose it than stick my head in the sand and accept it.
2,3,4,&6 along with preparing for it, what ever it might be. I know I'm on a list, why else would I be getting 5 phone calls from an unknown phone number in Texas every day....
I've reached the point where I look around me and find I just don't much care any more. Lately I tend toward making snacks to munch on while I watch Rome burn.
Was reading John Mill's book "Liberty" today and this very subject came to my mind in relation to "Tyranny of the people". Use of social force to "make" others to comform to the ideals that they consider "propper", to my mind is a form of tyranny. A young man, in his early twenties, during a discusion about liberty said he thinks it's about time he started to read up before it's to late, given what is going on in this country. Well copper top,I have plenty of resources for you, as Neo was asked in the Matrix movie, are you ready for the truth? This did give me a glimmer of hope for our future and I am loading up a flash drive for him.
If it can't be peeled like a banana, I'm probably not interested in it. There are, however, several politicians I'm interested in.
Good attitude. We have to try to leave something for the few youth that have their eyes open. Maybe they want to recruit you to follow Jade Helm around? Values and standards need to be passed along and shared. Wasn't it you that went and investigated the issue at the mine? On the ground reporting is important to get the truth out.
Talking to your representative today and expecting an adherence to the Constitution in Washington is like Thomas Jefferson asking King George III to abdicate the throne.
I wonder, sometimes; where this will lead. My hope is for the millennials to wake the hell up and realize that government isn't the cure, it is the disease...
We have a pretty decent represenative here, however he is very junior and may not know the truth yet.. Us old fart's have one very important task and that is to convince the younger generations of the "truth".. They will be the ones that fight the fight and they MUST be instructed well.. There are Monkey's here that have started. They have provided knowledge that can be used on these youngster's.. Turn their passion on and watch what they will accomplish! Keep feeding the resource.. Just look at @AllTrades baby face looking back from that picture! Show him how to fight the fight and to survive..
They won't wake up until they're our age, and they're watching the kids clamoring for even more rules and regulations. It won't change for the youth until they're choking under the weight of the government. They're nowhere near that yet.
we probably have enough musical monkeys to make up a band... Of course they may look like... while the audience looks more like...
Watching, waiting for the Empire to burn to the ground and then hopefully rebuild it like it should have been in the first place. (I didn't see that one on your list of choices)
The millennials aren't the ones screwing up, it's the baby boomers who are in charge and taking us down this path. All those misguided hippies who did too many drugs in the 60's are putting into action all their hate America speech from when they were in their teens and twenties. The millennials barely have enough time look away from their facebook pages and iphones to realize what is going on around them.
