Slanted article which is closer to propaganda than anything else. Rule number one when attacking the liberty movement: always pick apart every detail and then act like its a traditional argument, calling the entire event false. YES, the exact percentage of crime may be somewhat speculative, but the single fact remains (and was totally ignored) that the crime rate dropped significantly. YES, the "town" in question may not be an actual urban sprawl as defined by any literal genius, and may be a suburb of a larger town -SO WHAT? And YES, the police may not have been "fired" technically, but they do not have jobs there, and private security DOES.

It's all a matter of perspective. The end result is the same. More freedom, fewer corporate police murderers, less crime. END OF STORY.

They don't pull people over, they aren't out to criminalize the people, they only patrol and respond to actual criminal activity, and give peace of mind. The best security is PERSONAL security, that's every citizen's job -as it should be. The crime rate has dropped significantly. Debating the exact percentage and acting like this is all a fantasy is ridiculous.

    Keep trolling, Kellory.

"UPDATE: Since publication of this story, it has come to our attention that our sources contained serious factual errors about the extent of Sharpstown’s change in police force, the alleged drop in crime, and even the nature of Sharpstown itself. We would like to apologize for sharing this misinformation, retract our original article below, and direct Rare readers to a more accurate account here."

The publication you cited has been retracted, by Rare. This heads the article now, with the link to the more accurate story.

Yep, Brokor.... Revenge is sweetest, when it happens in front of a Judge, and their A$$ gets some serious Chewing On, by the local Judicial System.... Bet that LEO has a hard time EVER getting a Warrant Affidavit approved in that Court....

At least one source says the guy that shot the scene tells that a LOT of what he filmed hasn't made the news. There seems (as always with the hysterical MSM) that there's more to the story. I'll see if I can find a link.

There has to be more to the story, than what that article presents.

    (My initial observation)
Man. What can you say to this? The kid was unarmed. Father didn't report his own son as being an armed murderer or even that his truck was stolen -he wanted the police to scare some sense into him, tough love. Apparently, in this town that means "use of deadly force authorized". The cops shot him because he didn't shut off the truck, or refused to turn the truck ignition off? You see, in America if you refuse to do anything a cop demands, and you pick the wrong day, you get shot. Six times...that's an awful lot of anger management...

    (after I checked into this)
Then a search on the internet provides me this information (raw footage):

Apparently, the kid was running from police and refused to stop, then drove recklessly, and the police rammed the truck and swarmed. Because, America. Now, the kid keeps trying to get away, ramming cop cars (huge mistake) until one of the cops dumps some rounds into him. Yes, according to ANY rational explanation of code enforcement, the cops were justified in killing the kid. But, were they right? (and it was seven rounds fired)

I say, stupid father, bad parent, and the cops are militarized today. Stop expecting Andy Griffith, you ain't gonna get Andy Griffith.

I would have shot the SOB myself.how many other people did he put in danger? He lost the trailer, and all the lawn machines along the way like throwing chaff.
I would have fired, before the cops did.
The only reason he didn't kill anyone else, is because there happened to be no one in his way. (Besides the cops)

I see neither a corner or marked crosswalk. Which means the "victim" was crossing illegally. If so, he WAS in the wrong from the get go. His convience is of no consequence. If the cop was blocking the road, it was most likely on official business, meaning "interference with an officer in the commission of his duties. (Again, a crime). He may have been blocking traffic for safety reasons, such as a gas leak (seen that many times) or to limit traffic for a parade or dignitary. (Again, common).
Your victim chose the wrong path, and paid a heavy price for his foolishness.
