    Who cares? This is about police acting BAD, there's another thread just for propping up the police state, called 'police doing good things' or something. Jeesh [nono] Bad Genado! ;)

    Yes, I would say that citizen who walked his dog in PHILADELPHIA and who was UNARMED due to silly GUN LAWS which affect law abiding citizens, was an idiot. However, the teens are even bigger idiots, and their life expectancy is probably measured in months. We cannot have "insta-police" pop-ups ready to protect us, and the police state exists ONLY to criminalize the good people and allow the real criminals to do what we see here. The police aren't heroes, they aren't brave, and they certainly aren't necessary to a free and sovereign people. We have been indoctrinated to suck the boots of police our entire lives. They ain't Andy Griffith of Mayberry.

    I bet most folks don't know where this is all going. We live in a militarized police state. The police amount to a standing army. The white-black race war has begun. It's only a matter of time until it creates a chain reaction. PROBLEM - REACTION - SOLUTION.

    Who is gonna come to confiscate guns and keep the 'peace'? Geee, lemme guess..."That won't happen!" --Hurricane Katrina?

    Bottom line: the police are supposed to be on our side. They aren't. You're only fooling yourself if you think they are.

    [raspberry] I know many damn good cops. Men and women I'd trust with my life. Half my family are cops. Thank God I don't live in your world.

    @Brokor.... All I'm saying is there are two sides to every racial event.... What the cop did was wrong and what the cops in CA did beating a man they had do was wrong but maybe.... Just maybe in some cases what looks like brutality has some justification..... The seeming targeting based on race might have some grounding in fact.

    I too know of really good police officers however have had some really bad experience with awful police. I have seen police show up and purposely escalate situations almost like they wanted a fight. Many bad police out there and I blame the police for it. They should be "policing" their own. No one can tell me the good cops do not protect bad cops, you know the, thin blue line. A childhood friend of mine is a police officer and is always welcome at my house, but he knows better than to bring any fellow police with him, I do not trust them and seen how they act in social situations. Most off duty police are not welcome at my house, I do not want to be around them and find most of them to be cowards. @Ganado there is never an excuse for police brutality, never.

    *[raspberry]* What is up with that. I am calling you out kellory. Why do you have to act this way. I find your behavior equal to the tail end of a four legged animal that rhymes with cass. That is a weak personality trait and reflect badly on you. My sixteen year old step daughter acted that way when she was ten years old. Come on brother, why all the negativity, it does not serve you well.

    [raspberry] has it's place whenever you are in complete opposition to what has been said, or the manner in which it is said (in this case both). Simply put, if every cop acted like those portrayed here, if the behaviors of the vast majority of cops matched what is portrayed here, or if good cops did bend over backwards to protect bad cops, they would ALL be shot dead by now. There would be a bounty on badges, and solid citizens would have cop helmet stickers on their trucks with "X"'s through them. Even sheep will bite.
    The VAST majority of cops ARE good. And work for the greater good of you and me. Good cops HATE bad cops, and work at rooting them out. And if you don't care for my opinion (to which I am intitled) then [raspberry] to you.

    Oh yeah, I totally agree. Heck, there are LOTS more creeps out there and mentally ill people than cops, good or bad. But, we should NEVER EVER condone police brutality or attempt to justify it -in fact we don't need police at all. If the people protect themselves (carry firearms) and are not criminalized at every turn, and we only elect sheriffs to do the police work, we would be in a far better situation. We could even hire private security for small towns, in fact I hear Texas has started doing that with HUGE success. The point is, we just don't need corporate militarized police, they are obviously a danger to us and especially to liberty and the well being of the country.

    @Brokor. What is the difference between Private Security, and Corporate Militarized Police?

    Jurisdiction, actual and presumed. Also, the delegation of power and accountability would be different. A private police force would be held accountable and not assumed to be heroes who hold the banner of corporate America, like so many patriotic brainwashed people believe today. A private security force would also act accordingly unless they don't mind not receiving a paycheck. The people of every town who have them employed would certainly not allow them to parade around like an untouchable army ticketing, tasering, and shooting civilians. The private security would not have the ability to come into my town if they are from another town, and won't be able to gain access to private property, either.

    The context for police use to be 'peace officer' now it's 'law enforcement officer' these are two diametrically opposed concepts

    ....so...commit a crime in one town, then skip beyond the town boundaries to another town, and stay Scott free. Genius. Now...how could I defraud by remote....or maybe identify theft would be my next target, I'd just need to stay out of towns that I had stolen ID's from.
    With no jurisdiction beyond town limits, no pursuit, no extradition, and no arrests from private property? MAN ALIVE!! I can think of several ways to reign havoc, mayhem, and criminal disorder without ever running afoul of those pidley rules. [LMAO][reddevil][js]

    Of course, it is important to illustrate the duty and right of every civilian -to defend oneself and one's own property without being subjected to persecution and arrest by corporate police gestapo! We used to do just fine without them, checksum history.

The private security would not have the ability to come into my town if they are from another town, and won't be able to gain access to private property, either." VERBATUM. So any crime committed in one town, would be a free ride, as long as I can escape town or do it by remote. No problem. Commit any crime on the books, then hit the border of town, child's play. Average response time even for a silent alarm is about 3 minutes, plus pursuit time, so hit the bank, hit the border, and I'm home free. They can't follow, even if they knew who I was and could prove it, as a good prepper and an internet connection, they could not even starve me out. Amazon is approved for drone delivery now, so ammo drops and medicines would get through, I got all the cash from the bank jobs so credit is no problem. So unless they could anticipate my next target AND my exit route, they couldn't touch me!!;
