    That tool gets used at least 4-5 times each and every day. I have new flints for it in my pocket right now. I do quite a bit of metal cutting and bending.

    I do a bit of volunteer work around the area and it is a fact that city and county officials often try to cut short the needs of the people they were elected to serve. So when I was ask to help some elderly folks improve access to their only meeting place the first thing I saw was a number of steps with no handrails on one entry and another entry with only a ancient 1/2 pipe railing.

    Lots more to this story, graft, favoritism etc, but the final sentence of this story is that a proper safe set of handrails was built due to some one just asking, "can you help".

    So go out today and lend a hand and let folks know that help is only a part of a normal life.

    We took a friend out for breakfast yesterday and then had to go walk it off..... Snoqualmie Falls was really pumping due to all the recent rain!!
