The key is, they want to tax it... or control it.... let them do neither through either omission or denial.. If the trend continues with leftist controls, clamp down on who knows about what you have and what you are using for heat.... nobody's business but your own!!

Many municipalities are trying to pass regulations on the collection of rain water at this time....you are ever so right about what they will do with water, control of distribution, taxes and so on!!!

I regret I have but one life to give for my wood fueled countrymen.
(You think I'm kidding? ... this is all about taxes, always was, always is... we had a joke when I was a kid, that the gubmint would tax the air we breathe one day... sheez, I knew they would figure out a way to do it... ;)

EPA’s Ban On Wood Burning Stoves Just Days From Taking Effect | Off The Grid News

    Excerpt:

“It seems that even wood isn’t green or renewable enough anymore,” columnist Larry Bell wrote on Forbes.com “… [It’s] the oldest heating method known to mankind and mainstay of rural homes and many of our nation’s poorest residents. The agency’s stringent one-size-fits-all rules apply equally to heavily air-polluted cities and far cleaner plus typically colder off-grid wilderness areas such as large regions of Alaska and the American West.”

Just received a letter for the "Home Owners" insurance stating that they would be unable to underwrite do to a wood burning stove on the property. Called on the matter, the stove in question is in a outbuilding over 60' from the main house, fire inspected and passed by local fire code. No new policy will cover fire that has started do to a wood burning appliances, even embers that go 60' to the house.

It has functioned in the past, At present I do not have it plumbed in to the outside due to the patio overhang. If and when I build a camp later this year I plan on moving it to my west Bol
