I'm thinking this would work better with either a single shot break or bolt action. What surprised me is how the pellet punctured the steel plate while the mini-mag did not. I rate this improvisation:
OKAY! .22 shortage is now of no consequence! Thanks Sneaky, I've thought of this before but doubts kept from trying it. Since my wife has an all steel and hefty single shot this has now moved up the list.
Very interesting. Wonder if one could fit the pellet to the powercharge with a little bit of glue, soda straw, or something and then load them into a revolver like a normal .22 round?
Alright, Now I have to hit Home Despot, and see if they have these .22 Charges, in Stock and what the Price is......
Here is one I have found, Ramset Powder Load Chart Now I also know that a lot of these construction tool blanks are not just 22cal. there are some that are .25 and even .27 so do pay attention to what you are buying.
This just in.....................building construction comes to halt as Monkeys grab up all available supplies of ramset charges!!!!
Senators Boxer and Feinstein voice disappointment that all Hilti guns were not outright banned as weapons of mass construction.
Hilti ammo is readily available, not recorded. Since there's no Hilti gun involved, no worries there. The "work around" uses a normal 22 rifle.
Fienstein is now pushing for smaller powder charge clips. And wants huge fines for having too many nails in the gun!
If there is someone out there that could hold their nose long enough to dig into her ancestry and see if there's a genetic component pointing toward that level of moron-ness --- Then again, it might be she's on the carpenter's payroll so they can spend more time reloading the nail gun than nailing.
