4 small bottles of propane, 10 lbs rice, 2lbs oatmeal, 1lb brown sugar, 1 box emergen-c, 4 cans of beans, 15 lbs pinto beans, 4 packs cornmeal mix. I also picked up a large camp chief two burner stove for 10.00 at a garage sale (wife sold it to me, husband was inside) and an original risk board game with the game pieces that are shaped like cannons etc for one dollar.

Took delivery of more M1 Garand parts from the CMP and replacement of AR parts from some recent usage.

A recent post on firearms repair had me doing an inventory.

 

I replaced an IAC Hawk shotgun. It was a POS and I didn't trust it anymore. I replaced it with a Mossberg 590A1. I found a nice one in a pawn shop for an excellent price. There was only one flaw; someone cut down the recoil pad so I have to order a new one. No big deal.

 

Yeah, I like the nine round capacity. Right now it's all I can to do not to buy a bayonet for it.

Mom stocked up on more pet food today. We should have enough cat food for at least 4 months now, 3 months or so for dog food, and probably 6 months of chicken feed. Plus the grocery store in town in addition to having our cat food on sale for the bulk/case goods fall sale, also had a 6pack of our coffee for $29. So we're good on coffee until spring now I think.

Dog food, about 3 months worth. I was sitting really good until we added two large dogs to the mix. Suddenly my 1 year supply went *POOF*! Also ordered another 7 gallon water container, 20 more N95 masks, 32 oz bottle of Hibiclens, couple boxes of large bandaids, 6 months worth of laundry detergent, and a 6 pack of vetwrap. Also got some vein repair surgery I'd been putting off for 15 years taken care of so that's one less thing to plague me if SHTF.

I've lost count on the chicken. All told I've froze up 80 pounds. Canning another 30 this afternoon. We have a small chest freezer and it is full to the top with chicken now. Guess I need to work on filling the pork freezer next.

 

Bought some 7-gallon water containers--one for each family member. Makes it easier to track when it's time to replenish our supply before it gets too low.

Yes, we do have water filtration taken care; we have filtration for our home and for each individual.
