Six gallons of cheap bleach, two sets of cheap raingear (with hoods) for every member of the family, four large rolls of duct tape, an inflatable kiddie pool and a pump up garden sprayer.

(We already have gas masks with NBC filters)

20 gallons of water, a bunch of canned goods, some more honey and we bought two 5-rack electric dehydrators at ALDI for $20 each.

I might have picked up a SKS with 5 mags and about 300 rounds +.... might have been less than $300 for the lot..... with no records attached.... :)

Oh and I found out the grocery store that has the produce sale, they have added coconut sugar in their bulk bin food section, and it's at least a dollar cheaper per pound than the pre-packaged stuff. So I got some of that too. And our first 'goodie' from Amazon that will arrive this month is a fire extinguisher.

Over the past couple of weeks I've picked up a few items that I've either been wanting or are upgrades to existing items already owned.
Excalibur Dehydrator (3924T) - got it for less than $100 and it was brand new (or at least appeared that way). This is replacing one of those round units sold at Bass Pro, never did like having to work around that center hole.
Canning jars (can never have too many, unless you ask my wife).
    New windows for our cabin.
Coleman camp stove/oven to replace a stove only for our hunting cabin (new they are $250, paid $80)
Those blue reusable ice packs for coolers, like these, for .50 each

Picked up a bunch of household items as well for 80% off retail. Gotta love shopping at the discount stores. Been shopping a the local Bargain Hunt stores. I have t2 of them in my area and I went to one when I visited my sister.

Scored a little over 20lb of pork loin for 1.79lb yesterday. [coo]
Spent yesterday and today canning pints of tasty cubed pork in the pressure cooker. The last nine pints are going "Tink", "Tink" sitting on a towel behind me right now. That's 18 pints going into the pantry. Pork cans beautifully and holds its texture better than beef.

Still have a little left over so that'll be dinner for the Mrs. and me. Maybe a nice stir-fry with some green beans from the garden and some fresh picked mushrooms.

Well I am working on putting together 3 more mouse rifles. I got Anderson stripped lower receivers on sale at Copes Distributing for $50 each. The complete kits minus lower receivers are all Del-Ton mid length carbine kits with Magpul dark earth upgrades for $490 each. Fully assembled with open sights they will come in at $600 each. That includes all taxes, transfer fees, shipping and handling. Cheaper than dirt had the best price on the Del-ton kits. Right at $100 cheaper for each than where I first looked at them.

Our order from Amazon arrived, which included a household fire extinguisher, 2 packages of solar string (LED) lights, and a box of face masks. Am currently dehydrating celery(rhubarb and carrots are next) and got a bunch of herbs(oregano, sage, thyme, spearmint, and chocolate mint) drying as well.
