It's an old Australian pun....the rootin' = copulatin' and shootin' = ej.......well you get the idea. The Leavin'.....well male koala bears don't tend to stick around for the child rearin'...they just go back to their bachelor ways until they find another female koala in season...it seems like a pretty good deal to many bachelors.

Tassie Devils are not very large....but they do have a very sharp bite. ;)

The picture of the the Leaning Tower of Pisa might only possibly worry a person with symmetry OCD, not sufferers of OCD in general. There are far more debilitating forms of OCD than symmetry OCD: religiosity OCD for instance.....

The difficult thing is that people with religious OCD blend in possibly too well with non-OCD parishioners, and praying to their deity is unlikely to cure their nightmare.....in fact....prayer is just as like to compound it.

Really? You can take an innocuous, obviously meant to be humorous post and turn it into a soap box for your pathetic posturing and unrelenting diatribes against religion? And you wonder why people find you to be a pompous, arrogant and obnoxious ass.

I guess it depends on how funny one considers OCD to be as to whether the leaning tower of Pisa poster is humorous and innocuous. As to your complaint....take it to PM if you wish. Am happy to discuss the matter further there, but there won't be much of an audience to play to.

And...a diatribe against religion? Obviously symmetry OCD is uproariously funny....but religious OCD is not, at least in your reckoning perhaps. Religion is not entirely harmful...religion offers many positive things that a lot of people find beneficial.

I think folks here can make up their own mind about my nature without you assuming what they may or may not think of me. You will note that my remarks are not an attack on religion...but information on what religious OCD is, and how religious ritual may actually reinforce it.

To quote a boon SM Buddy, prone to flying provocative religious and cultural theories himself.....

Hopefully we are now more aware of what religious OCD is, and what influences it, than we were before the post that you were complaining of.
