Between tai chi meals

Friday the 13th lunch.

 

Marinating for dinner...

 

Iron Chef Salmon tonight.

 

Today, I wore the new socks my wifee made for me.





Mine aren't as fancy as my monkey's.



After teaching two tai chi classes it was time to eat. So, of course, we started with appetizers.



And had soup and salad.



My lunch.





The monkeys were having too much fun playing and baking, so only Mrs. Hanzo came to eat with me. I didn't look very closely when I took the picture, so caught her chewing.



Didn't take a picture of dessert.

 

Had lunch with a friend today. Bummed @Bear couldn't come. I think we ate your share. Just ask Mike.

Omakase! Not shown is the scallop butteryaki, agedashi tofu and dessert. Amy served us before I could take a picture of the food. And as for the dessert, it just disappeared.



And on the way home, I got a second dessert to share with Mrs. Hanzo. Dark chocolate iced blended.

 

Your wife is amazing. She does a great job knitting. I never got the hang of it.

 

It's a hobby she has picked up when she was pregnant with our first. And she hasn't let up yet. My wife goes all in when she does something she likes or feels is important.

 

I think my issue was that I am a lefty and a righty was teaching me to knit. Started with 15 rows, got up to 30+ back down to 10.... it was one strange scarf.

 

My wife is a lefty. Want me to ask how she learned?

 

Sure but I have seen the meals you eat also so I think she is way above me in the creative and perfect housewife pyramid.

 

Most of the food you see was either made by me or when we eat out. Like this salad.

Yes, @Hanzo , you make a lovely housewife.

 

I knew one of you monkeys was going to say it. Was just wondering who. Now I know who to watch out for.

 

That's what I thought too.

 

Spinach with scallops, shrimp, calamari, bacon and fried onions.

 

My wife said she started off lefty and switched to knitting right handed because it is easier to read and follow patterns as a righty.

 

I will try that. I have adapted to a right handed world so why not one more thing. Tell her thanks.

 

She also said crocheting helped.
