Yeah, heard about that yesterday. Like increasing taxes has ever helped. Prices are hovering at 3.41/gal this week. I've got a couple of 5 gal gas cans i need to get rotated, seems like a good time before we get nailed with a price increase due to the turmoil in Iraq and/or the guberment trying to milk us dry by increasing taxes.
Paid $4.11for diesel yesterday, Enumclaw, WA. In the last week, the high I saw was out in North Bend was $4.16
I had to stop off the highway to fuel today in the middle of nowhere... the guy was charging $4.19 a gallon..... about 14 cents higher than normal right now.....
2.67 last night, BUT, I only paid 2.28 with my last fill up using my kroger discount. Hoping between lowering gas prices and buying groceries my next fill up will be sub 2.00
Winter blend gas is just starting for the year, it always drops prices a bit. It will spike in the spring as summer blend starts back up (more expensive)
Foo, here I was thinking I got a deal at $2.94 for the POV and 3.48 for diesel in the work truck. Then again, it's New England. I can only dream about how much lower it woulda been if the dem-0-rats hadn't raised the gas tax.
Well, the one thing you can expect is for state .gov to start talking about jacking the gas tax while the fuel rates are lower.....
