The Tyson plant here works with Catholic Family Services to import Somalis by the plane load. However the southern born illegals are welcomed with open arms by the hotel, catering, restaurant, landscaping, and construction industries. The non-English speaking section of the population in this area is so huge that speaking Spanish is a requirement for a _lot_ of secretarial/receptionist jobs now. I suspect this massive influx has something to do with the recent TB outbreak at an Amarillo public school that's about 60% Hispanic. 37 confirmed cases so far.
I wonder if they physically busted him out, and brought him back, how the Feds would deal with that. Would seriously be a P.R. nightmare. They could get back across the border no problem, just start talking like the Taco Bell chihuahua.
I still don't know why we have check points 100 miles inland from the border .. wouldn't it be better to say stop them getting in AT the border? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's to keep us from escaping.
