Bought one recently and we have been getting even more fruits and vegetables in. Today, washed down lunch with wife's healthy concoction of kale, beets and figs. Tastes pretty good too. Healthier than the tuna melt I made.
And a nutri bullet is??? A juicer? Just got one also but have not fired it up yet. Bought a big supply of carrots/apples/bananas/etc. What are your favorite recipes?
Like a blender on steroids. We like it better than a juicer because we believe the pulp is valuable and nutritious. No favorite recipe yet. My wife's mixes always include kale. When it gets extra hot today, was thinking of watermelon and ice with a sprig of mint.
If I'm using something like apples, for example, I will core it. Watermelon, I will pick out the seeds unless I am feeling lazy.
Kale, apple, carrot, pineapple and broccoli sprouts. Cure cancer and live forever....well as close as you can.
I put spinach, red grapes blue berries and celery in mine. I have noticed that I feel sluggish if I go too long without my nutrabullet. I was buying those Odwalla juices but I found they are not as healthy as they claim.
You've piqued my interest. Consumer's Reports panned the thing as overpriced and under performing vs. the ads.
I use my ninja. It does the same thing but will also do 72oz of margaritas. Turns ice into snow. My favorite is kale, mustard leaf, apple, banana, yogurt, blueberries, mango, pomegranate juice, and on hot days, ice
I've had very good results with the Vitamix. My newest detox concoction is cucumber, spinach (or kale), parsley, celery, lemon, ginger. Just finished one!
Made a really fine lilikoi slushy. Monkeys gave it two paws up! It was very refreshing since it is so hot. The ice ground up fine as powder.
I have never tried ice in mine. It is supposed to be hot out today. Thanks, I will make slushies today.
The trick is getting the right ice to liquid ratio. I add water gradually until all the ice gets blended.
