That is why you must have the force of Law and public opinion. Laws are like teeth, they grip and hold as long as the will of the public provides the jaw strength, to make 'em hold. When the public just doesn't care, they slip. And every time they slip, they do damage (precedent is set), and justice gets shredded.

Actually, it is the BLM, that has to make a showing that the Grazing Rights, that predate their founding, are no longer valid. In this they have a serious problem. It is very likely they (Bundy Family) have the original Grazing Rights Document, and therefor BLM MUST make a showing that the Bundy's have breached those Rights, and violated the Original Rights, and ANY Amendments, that modified those Rights, that were SIGNED, by BOTH Parties. This is nothing more than STRAIGHT CONTRACT LAW. I suspect that BLM can NOT show, that the Grazing Rights was changed, and those changes were agreed to by BOTH Parties in writing. This where Harry Reid comes in with his son's Chinese Solar deal... They need " Clear Title" which BLM can NOT provide, so they need to contrive a way to get the Bundy's off the land, thus the Turtle BS, and any other contrivance they can come up with. This is not over, and be ready for much more BS, from BLM, DHS, and the Feds, spread by the MSM, IN LARGE QUANTITIES...........

We have already seen that Justices can be manipulated or shopped to get rulings that favor your particular need.

I think eventually it will be a similar gray area issue that ignites a larger conflagration. It may well NOT be a clear Constitutional situation. So many folks are fed up with the incessant lying, stealing, and heavy handed federal govt. when that final straw breaks the camel's back it won't matter much if the straw was right or true or not. It will be just enough more apparent govt overstepping that the break will happen regardless of the justness if that straw event.

Just like the Boston Massacre was murky as to whether it was a bunch of troublemakers get what they deserved or govt troops truly over reacting savagely (probably not). It alone would not have started the rebellion sentiment, but taken on top of numerous other insults it was enough to start tipping the scales.

Interesting topic, I saw brought up this past weekend. What if the entire BLM/Bundy case was brought up, just to give the government a chance to see what would happen, who would show up, and what actions they would be willing to take? Let's face it, it wouldn't have been difficult, especially in that area of the country, to have an MQ-9 Reaper RPA (remotely piloted aircraft, the current cool term for "drone") up around ten to fifteen thousand feet altitude, watching everything that was going on, and everyone on the ground pretty much oblivious to it being there......except the Feds, of course!

Honestly, with this administration, I wouldn't put it past them. Not for one second.

Not sure it started with that in mind, but I'm sure they exploited the opportunity.

The questions, that NEED to be asked, are: Who asked the FAA to "close that particular airspace" and "Why did they ask for that"... When you have the answer to those questions, then you will know just HOW Deep this goes into the .Gov..... If it was the .MIL, that would be VERY Serious... If it was DHS, again VERY Serious.... If it was BLM, not so serious, but Haul their A$$ in front of Congress, and get an explanation, as to "Who authorized this Request, and WHY?"... Start doing things like that and HEADS WILL ROLL..... FOIA Requests for the Documentation.... .......

looking at this map and knowing that we are financed by China, I it possible that the west coast may be being set up for a land purchase to the Chinese to make good on debt???

Fencing, or cutting another's fence would indeed cause you a slew of problems. The law was enacted because a lot of land was left idle by those who gave up. Land that is not used, fenced or paying taxes is only a drain on the county and state.

I, in fact, know of a strip of land along a Rail Road track in Harris County that was abandoned over a number of years. The deal was a group of money folks sold the land as a subdevision in the 20s, before the bust. They did this by advertising in "The North East" and providing Rail Transport to the area. Land was sold and then left to nature. Locals found out about it and built homes and fenced the land. To this time most still have some of the original fences in place and they have titles because they followeed the law and did not break it.

For those who might want to research this fact, I doubt you will find it in the internet.

Land was also abandoned after the Civil War and taken by those who had the guts to spend the time, blood and money to have a homestead. The first great TEXAS cattle drives came from 5 years of cattle breeding and not being owned and breeding on open range from abandoned lands, and since 5 years left a lot of unbranded cattle there was no theft only hard work and risk.

Every licience plate, every face, every weapon shown, how and where each deployed, and how fast they moved. That is what drones do best. Recon.

This one made me angry because as the article said the gov't, "To preserve the acreage and protect the wildlife." They are talking Summit county, bullshit! If they were so worried why are there acres of dead beetle kill? You drive and just see so many dead trees that are being left to rot, they could thin out a few of the dead ones because it is a very large fire waiting to happen.

Interesesting question at the end of the article-
So, should the government be able to confiscate private property because of what might happen – vs. what is happening? You make the call.

That statement makes me think of the NDAA 2012-2013.

What should have happened is the Militias, and OathKeepers should have had their own Drones, up and flying... As long as they are below 400Ft AGL, the FAA has No Jurisdiction, and any BLM Commando shooting at them would be, a Criminal Action, that could land them in Court, BIG TIME.... Intimidation, works in BOTH Directions.....

If some of our Monkeys, could pass this along to their Militia Group, and or their OathKeeper Bunch, this is a NEED, that these Groups MUST address ASAP. If for nothing else, the confrontations coming , in places like NY, and CT, where Gun Confiscation is on the Horizon.... RealTime Video, that documents the moves of the .Gov Forces, will go a LONG Way in Federal District Court, when suing for 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th, Amendment Violations.

    ......

I think the government has a better Idea of what to expect the next time they try and flex muscle. They still dont know how many would show up for real fight. Cool heads prevailed this time ,maybe next time it doesn't go down as easy. What they didnt count on was their inability to control the news. This is where they are losing their grip on the people. This cat is out of the bag. The people are listening and learning. I am watching passive people getting pissed on facebook and I say " ITS ABOUT TIME!!!" This government is waking up a sleeping giant. This was the biggest armed opposition in a long long time. The next one will be double or triple this one. They will have no supply lines, no where to hide. They will not be able to sleep and they (if they fire on Americans ever again) WILL BE GIVEN NO QUARTER.

Yeah but Bundy is not in Texas. He is in Nevada and Nevada keeps electing Harry Reid so I am sure they have much different laws then Texas. Bundy didn't pay taxes on the land. He didn't even pay his grazing fees for twenty 20years. I am with Kellory on this. Bundy was not innocent in this, nor is the BLM. What is right may not be the law and what is the law may not be just.

Also , if they start rounding up Militia groups it wont end well as it will turn to an all out insurrection. I don't think the government wants another civil war. They really do think we are cowed and submissive and don't care. They believe they have trained the masses to obey and they are wrong. I even saw Liberals saying this has gone too far. Freedom has a way of getting under a mans skin and it sticks. Liberty is not going to go away as easily as these globalist shills think.

Nonetheless, it is the law, even if we don't yet know what the law actually says. If it needs fixing, there's no time like the present. I've crossed my fingers on that one, but expect cramps before anything happens.

I am thinking it will be just like Benghazi as well..... no records, everyone will be sworn to secrecy, and those that do know will not be made available.
