Putting away a bit more ammo. Some of it in various rifle calibers has a black tip. Added a dozen squad meal trays--good stuff--opened a couple just to make sure. Will feed the family for two meals +. Readying for planting time. Putting moma in a layer of bricks between/around the raised beds. Will not have to mow/weed eat it again--but it is for moma--lol.

 

Y'all better put her in a deeper hole than a raised bed or dogs will dig her up.

Another 12'X6'X18"of pantry shelving. Seems the Mrs. prefers things in 5 or 6 places instead of 10 or more. Go figure.

 

We got about a gallon sized bag FULL of salt packets, believe they're iodized. More pasta, oatmeal, rice, buttermilk pancake mix, some canned goods, and I think that's all that will make it to the food storage area.

 

Met Magnus at the Prepper's Expo here in Phoenix today, I bought some heirloom seeds, some first aid stuff and a book. I felt like a kid with a nickle in a penny candy shop!

There were too many dandelions in the salad garden plot, so I removed some and am giving the greens to the chickens and drying/preserving the roots for future use as a coffee substitute(and for use as a fabric dye).
