Yep.... Missed you around here.... Will they save the debate over whether to use real Key Lime or reconstituted for the one after that???
If they debate that..I'm never eating Key Lime Pie again.. and I'd rather eat Key Lime Pie than... well.. rather than breathe..
Another perfect example of wasted tax money IMO. Why do you need an 'Official Pie'? What's next? How about a State Worm, State Fishing Hole, how about a State Electric Company Mascot? It is good that they like the pie, though why waste money and time dealing out titles for things like this when they actually could save that money for disaster relief or some such thing? Just my two cents.
Exactly why I posted it! Hello???? This is FLORIDA....Home of the first place hurricanes hit...and let's waste time making an official State Pie???? Sheeeeesh...
Wonder what the Alabama state pie is? I'm pretty sure what Texas's pie is; stepped in one once but have to admit to a fondness for apple brown betty. anyone want to match states with pies? pecan pie? magpye? apple pie? peach pie? cowpie? porkypie? (ok, I'm reaching)(it is friday night, you know) .
I want to make a cookie. I want to make a Raisen, Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip cookie. When I do it, I'll post the recipe. Though I could just eat a box of raisens, followed by a bowl of oatmeal, a spoon of peanut butter and a handful of chocolate chips spread over some cookie dough icecream. Naw, I like the cookie idea. Haha.
They say that great minds think alike. With or without psychotropic drugs is a matter of some debate.
Actually Wisconsin has an official state "dirt" Antigo Silt Loam to be exact. And also a official state dance..the polka. I believe there is also a state tree, cheese, and muffin [cranberry I think]! What else do our elected morons have to do with our tax money?
Okay...so, surprisingly, we don't have a state pie - I bet it'd be marionberry if we did - but does anyone else have a state mushroom?
