The are from the protest in Kiev. People vs. the Power. We should be paying attention. The sheeple may need some education on what to wear to a protest if it comes here.

Ukraine is at a cross roads. A large number of Ukrainians in the larger cities wanted to have a trade agreement with the EU. Russia pressured the Ukrainian Government to step back.

Then a few days ago, they passed an anti-protest law. Basically, one could end up in prison for 15 years. wOOt, and we thought our NDAA was suckor! End up in a ex-russian prison? erm, no thanks.

Kiev is about to go dark in the next 12-24 hrs unless the opposition and the president reach an agreement (unlikely).

It has been announced that Yanukovych and his regime will implement a state of emergency on January 24 which will include a disabling of all phone, internet, TV, and radio except for the government channel. Laws went into effect yesterday that make this legal (though unconstitutional). Already in many areas in Ukraine, TV channels that provide news on the protest as well as social media like Facebook and Twitter have been blocked; many people have no TV or internet service at all

Very troubling times. A protester can get 10 days in jail for wearing a helmet or mask. Right about now, jail sounds safer than the video feeds i'm getting on the street.

I guess this revolution 'Will be televised'. Maybe not on main stream media, but smuggled out through the internet.

Heaven help them all if they don't back away from the brink.
