Hey guys, I'm a slingshot guy over at Slingshot Forum... I'm new to all this sort of stuff but I'm excited to get into bushcraft and the like. Hope to learn a lot from you guys. Cheers, Clever Moniker
Clever is a friend of mine and one hell of a shot with a slingshot and hunter as well as being a great guy.
Thanks kellory! I mainly use mine to hunt with. August has gotten me into fishing as of late. Thanks for the nice comment August. You're a killer shot too (literally) with a slingshot! I really hope to learn a lot, I literally know nothing about gardening, livestock and the like.
I hunt rabbits and squirrels with one while stalking in for a deer drive. It's quiet, and will not spook the deer.
If you have found the shout box just below the label, is another chat room button. Smaller groups, more privacy, and conversations are not permanent, like in the threads. Kinda like sitting around the fire pit, with friends and a beer, sharing stories, and converseing. Slowest during the day, it picks up in the evening.
Welcome. The Green Patc h here is pretty active with some good gardeners. If you're CDN - this is where to get your seeds in bulk at a fair price: Organic Seeds (Canada), certified organic heirloom, vegetable, herb and flower seeds - West Coast Seeds U might wanna get into something like this too... Worm Factory 360 Vermicompost Composter - West Coast Seeds Grow worms for fishing and make castings for your garden at the same time. S'pose you could eat'em too in a SHTF scenario... Can DIY MUCH cheaper mind you...
I know this sounds strange, but I was still sorting out what that "shoutbox" thing was! lol Thanks for the explanation kellory! Nice when things aren't so permanent, I don't have to double check what I'm saying all the time. Dude, this is freakin' awesome! I know nothing about gardening and kill anything I try and grow... this summer I was about to have another go at it, so this is super helpful! Cheers, Clever Moniker
Welcome aboard the Monkey Tree. You will find lots of good info here, and fantatstic people too! good to see more canuckleheads getting into the prepped mindset
It's funny you mention that... rarely do I hear Canadian's talk about preparedness. I wonder why that is... :S
