Who was the guy in Florida that built the castle out of rock, then moved the whole thing in one night??

See Coral Castle Museum for pics of the Coral Castle.

    "
If you had visited Coral Castle in the 1940s you would have been greeted enthusiastically by a man weighing a mere 100 pounds and standing just over 5 feet tall. He would have asked you for ten cents admission and introduced you to his fantasy world.

As you moved around his sculpture garden in stone, and the significance of each piece was explained, you would have been witness to the great pride Ed Leedskalnin took in his work.

Since it is documented that no one ever witnessed Ed’s labor in building his beloved Coral Castle, some have said he had supernatural powers. Ed would only say that he knew the secrets used to build the ancient pyramids and if he could learn them, you could too.

Today, you can tour the Coral Castle using our audio stands, with narration available in English, Spanish, French or German. We also have knowledgeable guides available to conduct tours. Features of the Coral Castle Museum include a 9-ton gate that moves with just a touch of the finger, a Polaris telescope and functioning rocking chairs – all made entirely of stone."

I always find it amusing how many people think humanity can't survive without all our modern technology. The fact that humanity obviously survived for thousands and thousands of years without it, that's apparently beyond them to figure out or accept.

Seen this guy a while back, very cool. A thinking mind is like a finely tooled machine, a pleasure to watch work.

There's still quite a bit left unexplained if we accept this as empirical proof, but I think it's a very sensible method to explain some of the ways the giant boulders and stones were moved. It still doesn't explain everything, so we must keep searching.

Magnetism is the key to rediscovering much of our forgotten past.

There had been a program on about the giants of easter island and how the islanders said they had walked them from the quary to their final resting point..

I move houses for a living and we still employ "ancient" tools occasionally to roll houses into/out of tight places. Using simple rollers and parallel beams you can walk very heavy objects fairly easily. I have moved 80' steel beams sideways simply by having two timbers slightly apart near the balance point. That way you just seesaw it where needed.

His rig is a large scale version of exactly what I suggested to load a generator in a pick up truck.

The problem with so called "experts", as well as those who blindly support debunking like this, is that not ONE of them could EVER duplicate the workings they claim to be so ordinary and boring. To date, all the experts and engineers in the world still could not duplicate the Egyptian pyramids in size or in detail, yet we will see plenty of naysayers who have had far too much fluoride, side with the debunking team because it makes them feel intelligent.

You see, debunking is a very simple process, and it begins like this:

Person 1 - "This place is a mystery. It's simply fascinating..."
    Debunker - "No, it's not."

    And there you have it.

If this is directed at me, I have no idea why. I simply recognised a rig I suggested to load a generator that BTPost spotted, and the question came up as to how to load it. What got you panties in a twist?[dunno]

Nope. And you're welcome to PM me any time you like. No need to make a public posting about your perceptions. :)

Oh, the fluoride bit. lol. No, man. Just a general observation. haha. That's funny.

The world is filled with mystery. I'm not proposing anything but it's interesting that there are huge monolithic stones weighing several millions of pounds used in building sites around the world that we today cannot move into position.

Some might say if we took several of our largest cranes working together it could be done. OK, then that would imply they had our technology or very close and the problem is there is no place to mount the cranes to place the stones. Let alone move them cross country.

It kinda sucks there's no real mystery here, but it is still really cool. And there are still some questions left unanswered, but I think most of them can be settled now.
