Here's what you are looking for and what's on my wrist right now and most of the time :0)
Look for a more current date if you want the tritium glowing... (oops back pick not loading... I'll try later) ... glow never really helped me as there is always enough light :0)
Let me know if I can help you do a search or you wanna try one of these....

Think I have seen them for sale in shot gun news.. Think there was another site that catered to old Jarheads..

You can find Bear's watch (or something very close to it) on Amazon for around $100 by searching for "MARATHON GENERAL PURPOSE WRISTWATCH".

I am not sure of it is the very same thing...I use Traser watches of this caliber, and I never used a Marathon watch before.

@Brokor thanks for the resource... Traser watches are great watches... not sure if they are mechanical or quartz... I like mechanical so I don't worry about changing batteries... just need to remember to wind :0) by the way... these two have been sitting in my safe... anyone what to try one out without the glow (tritium past it's life)... let me know... I'll ship it out for $25 :0)

As of December 25th, my "EDC Watch" is an 1884 Elgin Railroad Watch with full case of .999 silver…thanks to my darling wife.

I'd like to see this one put out of commission by an EMP [touchdown]

EMP = "Erratic Mugger Pimp"? Yeah, watch out for those guys.

  15. A cheap old Sunnto Vector for everyday banging around and a Suunto Xlander military for all the other times. They work for me.

Me too. An Expedition. Cheap so I can have a few back-ups at $30 each. Gets the job done

I have had the Tech4o Traileader Jet for just over a year now. I really like this watch. It has:

    Digital Compass
    Barometer
    Altimeter
    Accelerometer

    TrailLeader1.

    Won't a quartz movement die if EMP's?

Depends a lot on where you are in respect to the EMP. (How close, Sheltered, Pulse Power, Etc)
