Rocket Stove Experimental Diagram/Heats Home, Water and You can cook on it

This is the idea I had to make he most bang for your homesteading buck. If your going to burn wood for one thing might as well use the excess energy for other tings as well.
The wound 1" copper pipe goes inside the upper pipe at the top that is shown in diagram. You must use high temp water hose for all supply and return water. the water will heat up very quickly.
I have not built this yet, its my next big project. I will have to have my buddy help me with the welding.
I believe together we are better no matter what we're doing in life.

 

Ill be working on my own rocket mass heater in the near future. I will post the results.

 

I made a small one out of heavy gauge chimney pipe and an elbow, I built a tower of stepping blocks around it and packed it with sandy dirt. That thing is awesome. But too needy. My diagram is a more walkaway for hours friendly version.I think it'll work, Looks good on paper!

 

You didn't go with the vermiculite mixture? I also heard that ash is a really good insulator. I know on the small test version I did I filled it with sand to insulate it and burned the crap out of my hand when I tested it.

 

It was a quicky trial version. took ten minuts and$20. Vermiculite is lighter for sure. but its ouside and dirt was really handy. I live on 8.5 acres, lots a dirt.

 

Grin, yeah I guess the world is made out of the stuff... perhaps we could find a good use for it as its really abundant.

That is the first I've heard of Hercolubus but I will do some more research on it... should have its own thread.

 

They've been calling it Planet X since the 50's they even made documentaries on it as recently as the 70' still talking about it in the 90's til it got close enough and they figured out the repercussions of it and declared the info top secret.
I always thought it was crazy but I caught it on nasa soho lasco 2 and mada video on it. It started coming into view around sept. 2013

 

Oh so that's the same as planet x. Yeah I remember hearing about it but its been so long since we've had any updates. I remember at one point the news was all over planet X and then just stopped talking about it. It used to be a known and accepted fact back in the 70s.
