Exactly the things we do, check the source, buy local or be willing to pay more for items shipped in from other locations in the US. WE search out the labels and then tell our Grocer we are not interested in fish from China, etc. We are lucky to have a local Dairy which produces their own cheese. Inspected but not overheated by the more normal methods of the mass producers. YMMV
