Well, Tomorrow, Momma and I will finish loading the Winter Supplies into the Freezers, and and the Warm-Room. This will bring us back to 18 months of normal everyday living Grub, before we would have to break into the Long Term Storage. Next weeks barge will top off the Tank Farm, and our Fuel Supplies, for the next 9+ months, will be secure. All we have left to do, is wash out our Water Storage Totes, and refill them with Good Water, and we will be set for Winter, in the soon to be Frozen North. Two weeks and all these noisy Summer Folks will be gone, and Peace and Quiet will return for the next 8 Months. [woot] [woot] b::

Mom ordered a 4pack of 19oz Ghiradelli White Mocha mix today from Amazon(SM will hopefully get the 'commission). Funny, an individual canister of it is $9, 4 pack is only $23. We did math. Woohoo!

A new used chainsaw and about 4 face cord of cherry.
Ok, I'm working on putting away the 4 face cord. Splitting it now.
Well, actually taking a break from splitting it at the moment.

Actually, the owner of the manufacturing company I worked for maybe 10 years ago gave me his old Husqvarna 41. It's 20 years old but after a quick tune up, I promptly ran through 2.5 gallons of mix and a gallon of bar oil.

I chopped the tree down to where the trunk hit 24-26" dia. with the 18" bar. Still a lot of tree left but damn those logs are getting heavy at this point.

Nothing wrong with a Huskie, but it isn't a Stihl.....

But a free Huskie beats the pants off a Stihl you have to buy. ;)

Finally built a second raised garden bed...the soil where I live is worthless for anything but clay. It's another 8x4x16.5" (2x6's).

Don't want to make 4 posts so I can get all the pictures in but there's a photobucket album here.

Looks like you have 2 choices, as Husqvarna and Jonsered are made by the same company.

Congrats on the saw, nothing wrong with free. Wish I could be so lucky.
