Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Lincoln was a Republican when he ran for President the first term. For his second term, he switched to the Union party.

 

Okay so I was correct. The war of Northern Aggression began in 1861. Lincoln was elected to his first term in 1860. His assassination in April of 1865 was so early in his second term as to make it negligible. The Union party still was not the Democratic party. Case closed. Thanks for the Clarification. Facts are facts no matter who tries to twist them. I am no fan of the Democratic party.
