That's not Shepard's pie. Bacon? Mac & cheese???? They must be drunk cause I never had shepards pie w/that stuff in it.

 

Mine is usually mashed taters, corn and ground beef.
Pretty plain.

 

Ground beef, corn, green beans, mashed taters and all the fresh ground pepper and melty butter you can handle...nothing more, nothing less. Or it can't be what it ain't.

Bacon never hurts, except in ice cream. The Denny's near me had bacon sundaes for a bit last year. Yuck.
