I already got caught and they Upper/Lower are not even here. She said as long as I get/build her a Lefty AR, Im good to go. As for the bag. She knows I refuse to buy any bag at retail unless work is paying me back. She will love it as much as the next and love being the only one who will have it for 6 months.

No, I am all good. I just ordered her a 5.56/.223 Upper & lower anodized in purple from Sun Devil in Arizona. They actually said they would try to get it out in the same shipment as my .308 they made me. The wife has already sent me a list of parts. One being a Trijicon ACOG! My best friend is the one killing me. She calls him to ask what the best parts are. She knows I will just put what I think will work. I guess it could be worse. I have had friends divorce over there guns, so to have a wife into it helps the cause.

 

Wish i could afford to play with some of them toys.....

 

my priorities are skewed. I am setting aside all else to complete my gun purchases. Top Ramen instead of steak to fund these. This .308 will be my last rifle on the list.

 

A lefty AR, what a dream. The thought of shooting & not have hot shells flying at me. I am a lefty who has learned to suffer though living in a right handed world.

 

She hates hot brass! She has a G19 lefty Already. Now she wants her own lefty AR so she gets what she wants.

 

Just get a brass catcher and the hot brass disappears...

 

I have tried 3 different brass catchers and none of them felt right or fit right. Then again she is just learning patients and not dumping mags as fast as possible

 

I have an old fiberglass one that clips though the carrying handle/upper sight that works well

 

Got my seed stock put up.

 

2 new apple trees, and I found 2 525 boxes of 22 at Bi Mart limit one per customer. (had the kid with me)They had it behind the counter and I almost missed it.

 

I picked up a couple of boxes of 12G #4 buck at Cabela's in Lacey. The brand was Royal Buck, haven't heard of it before. I like that they used clear hulls and high brass. 2.75 inch shells with 21 pellets, unbuffered, per shell with advertised velocity of 1325ish fps, so a little light, but I prefer that for the wife and kids to use. Paid 18 bucks a box. The shelves were full of the stuff.

Also got a Presto 4 quart stainless steel pressure cooker for stove top and propane use. We have an All American for canning and an electric computerized one for regular use, but I wanted this one for flexibility. Seems solidly built.

 

Just returned from the gathering. Made notes of what was needed, missing, and used up. Found a leak in the kitchen supplies--everything was molded. Would say that the 50 barrel is about ready but you would think I am a gun nut--lol.
