From a member of my Connecticut Preppers group "Went to Cabela's this evening because I was curious what the racks and cases looked like. I was expecting a lot of empty spots, but not entire sections. It looked really sad. They're going to have to lay people off, so many guys were just standing around. Gotta love CT.... "
Just a thought from my little pea pickin brain. ...... There are at least 11 states that have Pro Gun as opposed to anti gun Legislation recently passed or in progress of passing to Support the Second Amendment, and tell our current dictator/traitor head of state to kiss their unhappy masses. . Y'all might consider a move to a more friendly environment if you happen to be living in a State of illogical insanity.
That is certainly an option under discussion by many people (and businesses) with whom I have spoken. However, another perspective is that by leaving, the state will have no opposition from constitutional defenders
If the state your in is a lost cause, for example Commiefornia, your best option might be to fall back (move) to a gun friendly state and build your opposition there.
For even more perspective, look at the cubbies underneath the shotguns. NO AMMO. That's been my experience, ammo be gone. 3 stores with the boy this weekend. Yep, time to buy a 270 or a 300 Win Mag. When I can no longer find 12Ga, I'm gonna say it's here.
You can move to PA and help us fight against the crazies from Phili that are trying to take over the state.
More sad news. Went to all the big box stores in the city close to me and found rope by the spools. Seems in the current political climate that just shouldn't be so. Guess people just aren't fed up enough yet.
I got plenty of rope. Just waiting for the festivities to begin. I do need some tar and chicken feathers though.......
I don't think most of today's Folks, know how Fence Rails were used, in this context... I was reminded when watching "Oh Brother, Where Art thou" yesterday.....
I think people have been doing some serious shopping. People aren't stupid, they knew they were going to go for the guns. In Jan/Feb some of the ammo shelves were getting bare out here and they installed number machines so people had to take a number if they wanted to see a gun.
If I could get my wife to leave the children and grandchildren we'd already be gone. But she can't live without those hugs and kisses so I'm stuck in Kolorado for now.
The new laws will do nothing to keep the guns out of criminals hands. The Adam Lanzas and William Spenglers will still be able to get guns, the same way they did before all the lawmakers BS. The gang bangers who got their guns illegally, and are selling drugs wont be worried about 30 round mags. Maunufactuers like PTR Industries will be pushed out of the state and the lost revenue will be made up by the tax payer. Good job guys.
Went to the the Bass Pro Shop in OKC, back in January, and they had exactly SIX pistols left in their case, which was about as large as the 2nd photo. Pretty sure they were all revolvers, too! The problem now, is, everyone and their brother bought a gun.....and now wants 5000 rounds of ammo for it!!
