Sounds like cheap insurance for a foray into watts or Culver. Cheap at twice the price. Hey! You could make your money back delivering pizzas in watts! Say a $50. Delivery fee. That might cover the ammo cost....

Evidently there are diesel variants with a somewhat better fuel economy than Av-Gas:

We are also going to need at least 200 litres of diesel to be able to test the tank completely. It seems at this stage that the fuel consumption will be in the region of 2.5 litres per km compared to the original engine's consumption of 9 litres per km."
