Boy Buckstudson, you really are not going to fit in here. We are all just itching to shoot our co-workers with sporting rifles and would probably fire you, if you spouted that opinion at work...The next time I shoot somebody, I'll invite you over for the poetry.
@Silversnake, i don't believe in ignore lists. I prefer to know what a potential threat is doing. And at least he has balls, though they seem to be in a jar on his desk.....besides, i think i'll bury the hatchet.
well it wouldn't be the first time I failed to fit the mold of the majority,I did say LUNATIC FRINGE TYPES AND THEIR CLOSE COUSINS THE SOCIALLY FUNCTIONAL(UNTIL THEY SNAP) NICE GUY NEXT DOOR,type who upon being butt hurt after suffering a blow to his livelihood decides to get even using the universally understood almighty extender of manhood the high capacity semi automatic "sporting rifle" this is usually the compensator of choice for such needle****'s.I own only bolt action, lever action, pump action and revolvers if you are of sound mind and judgement I wasn't referring to you and your "sporting rifles". but I still wouldn't trust ya around me with a gun in your hand two dead friends and a mighty close call I suppose has a lot to do with the way I'm wired.and I see no big deal in thinking at times how proper it is when the one who takes pleasure in killing with bullets is himself killed with bullets.and besides what kinda guy would I be if I couldn't handle a little written criticism....
None of us would probably trust you around us with your bolt action even though you don't seem to find that yours fits into the same killing machine category as a semi-automatic weapon. It is not the weapon but the intent of the possessor which determines the outcome of it's use. Although I find your argument fraught with emotion rather than logic, as a believer in our constitution and a firm supporter of the second amendment, I am just as adamant in my support of every amendment which gives you your right to spout whatever opinion you wish.
O.k gotcha loud n clear it seems I've stumbled into the land of "US" hmmm I've never been much of a "US" guy I'll have to give this place a bit more thought........
@BuckStudson, no weapon on the face of the earth, has ever jumped out of a gun safe, stalked the neighborhood, and shot up a gun free zone. That was done by the man/boy/fool behind the weapon. The weapon is completely blameless, and an AR-15 (shooter's common choice) is no different really than my Glenfield model #60 that my Father gave me many years ago. they are both semiauto sporting rifles. I have 17 shots, before reloading. some idiots would call that "high capacity" I would call it a collector"s item, for the modern version only has 15. It's men who are dangerous, guns are just tools.
The use of "us" was more of a response to a comment made to a group of people rather than the collective "us" but I can see where my statement was unclear. More correctly stated, I would probably not trust you around me with your bolt action.
Or any other Weapon, be it a BaseBall Bat, Knife, Bow and Arrow, Throwing Star, or Slingshot.... ...... YMMV......
Fair enough, although I'll have to admit that being outside the lines of consensus as I usually am,does make one an outsider of sorts.you get used to,expect and on occasion welcome opposition.it kinda comes with being a lone wolf type of dude.so for the sake of harmony.I'll limit future correspondence solely to questions and answers.good day all.
Was that paid for entertainment or did we get that for free? A loner with two dead friends and he is afraid of who being unbalanced? Sure glad none of us have ever lost friends or family to violence or we might be skeered of them guns. /sarcasm Why someone feels a need for one of them "shoot all week long" lever actions and fancy auto-rotating revolvermatics is beyond me. They could clear out an entire room if their brain hiccuped.
