upper hand guard has a chunk missing, and longitudinal split through receiver cut out into wrist. It's kindlin'.

But after selling off everything 'cept the 20 guage. It's good to have something that can be used on deer more than 50 yards away.

I went with this because i could find ammo. previous guns, no ammo to be found in my neck of the woods. Plus, corrosive ammo don't scare me none.

Branched out a little today. Started on meds/first aid/hygiene stuff. The 88 cent section at Wally was great for OTC meds, and I also got plenty of hand soap, purell, baby wipes, hydrogen peroxide. On the food side, picked up seasonings and spices, sugar, salt and honey. Visited the ammo section and was greeted with empty shelves, again, although that is less of an issue than it was a month ago. Finally got a rubber mallet for my bucket lids (I have been using a 15 lb dumbbell lol).....just assembled a couple more buckets and now it's time to clear up a closet so I have a dark place to store them.

This week, I'll be scouting out places for guerrilla gardens. Last week's snow mess should be cleared up by Friday.

Got a young couple started prepping this weekend. Met them at the local range and got to talking, found some common ground and when thay started asking questions I thought it a good idea to help them get started.

Got them well on the way to "store what you eat and eat what you store" ...and be careful who you talk to.

Now we have new friends and future reinforcements. [coo]
