I had a group of them come out of our dumpster one night while I was dumping the trash. I carry a sledge hammer handle at night for two legged vermin. I was not expecting the attack I got, But i beat two to death, and chased off the others. I felt like Luke Skywalker as he learns to intercept strikes while blindfolded. i could not see much, is was overcast and no moon, so it was rather ...intense.

Maybe he's anointing the sick with sacramental oil (extreme unction).....else holy water will rust them as effectively as unsanctified H2O.

I doubt that it will give the weapons any special juju that will make them any more accurate than the skill and training of the operators will permit. It nearly always amuses, and saddens me when the devout perform such pointless, superstitious rituals.

The Simba rebels during the Congo rebellion in the 1960's performed somewhat similar rituals...to no better effect.

Herobuilders is the same company that made an action figure of Anthony Weiner, the lawmaker from New York who resigned after a Twitter sex scandal.
