Some reporter asked if Bloomberg would give up his 5 bodyguards while carrying a 32 ounce drink.. Bloomberg said I'll get back with you.. The PJ Tatler » BREAKING: NY Mayor Mike Bloomberg Uses Bodyguards to Bully Journalist in Washington (Updated) Yeah right.
I still want to know what will cause the machines to fry. Kind of like sending the signal back to it. I think Mylar Jackets should help block. but I have no idea at this time.
I wonder what the FCC has to say about the RF Energy Density emitted by this device, as it MUST comply with FCC Regulations for RF Radiation & Power Density of ANY RF Emitter, and this device certainly is an RF Emitter.
Being both an emitter, and a receiver, I wonder what type of signal it would take to create "white noise" to it alone. (without violating any FCC rules) . Some sort of feedback, or mirror signal, or harmonic.....Perhaps, just a personal white noise generator.
I suspect if you did devise a way to jam it, they would use that as an excuse to take you down under the ole "Why would he jam our scanner if he wasn't hiding anything?" excuse.
Plausible deniability. Who knew a busted radio could do that? I don't know where those sparks are coming from, and besides, i think it was busted before I arrived!
No you can't do that.... but the Mylar lined Coat, with sputtered copper metal on one side should be a very effective masking material, and that would certainly be LEGAL, to wear & Possess, without being Probable Cause to Stop or Detain the wearer... They would just NOT GET A Picture, of what was under the coat. Put the Mylar in the lining of the coat and it wouldn't't even be noticeable from the outside... Just another thought, here.... I wonder if the same thing would work against the new TSA Scanners that use similar technology.... I will have to send a few eMails in the morning, to find out...
